This friendly city of 1.5 million people offers endless opportunities for COMPUMAG attendees to gain meaningful hands-on experience of rich Japanese culture through tea ceremony, sake brewing, kimono wearing, swordsmanship and more. Japan is renowned for its safety and the compactness of Kyoto makes for wonderful strolling during free time. From the moment of arrival at Kansai International Airport, guests of Kyoto can travel easily with clear multilingual signs and clean efficient transportation choices. The Kyoto International Conference Center (ICC Kyoto) is located at a convenient location about 15 minutes from the city center of Kyoto.

VISA Information

If you need a visa, the organization will be pleased to send you an offfical invitation letter for your Visa application. After paying the registration fee, please send en email to secretariat@compumag2023.com with the following information:
ー First name (as shown in passport)
ー Last name (as shown in passport)
ー Affiliation
ー Country of citizenship

Such an invitation is intended to help a potential participant raise funds or obtain his/her country’s exit visa. It is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support. Visa applications are to be done to the nearest Japanese embassy or consulate to you. Visa applications requirements and documents needed are to be requested from the concerned Japanese embassy or consulate. Please be aware that we won’t be able to contact directly consulates or embassies and we do not intervene in anyway with the Visa process as the participant is sole responsible to apply and follow up on his Visa application.

Even with the letter of Invitation and in case we are contacted by the concerned consulates or embassies, we will not be able to support the participant Visa applicant unless he/she is fully registered to the conference and paid the registration fees. For this, we strongly advise our participants to register to the conference before applying for the Visa.

the city from the conference site is simple and convenient. There are
